Eminem knew what he was talking about when he wrote the lyrics about losing yourself in the music. Your palms may be sweaty. Your knees may be weak. Your arms may be heavy. (I just hope you haven’t vomited any of mom’s spaghetti on your sweater.)
Would you watch a YouTube video or read a book to learn how to ride a bike—and then declare yourself an expert? Of course not, you need to get outside, feel the wind in your hair, scrape your knees, and keep getting back up again. If you have the desire to improve your singing, you can make it happen with lessons.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to be able to read sheet music yet, we can cover that.
Never sung with a piano before? No problem.
If you feel stuck or don’t know where to start, don’t worry, I got you.

Professional singers
aren’t “born with it.”
They’re trained
Now is the time to take your singing to the next level. Whether you are a pro looking to sharpen your skills or a newcomer just learning the ropes, taking lessons will be a gamechanger for you in your musical journey.
30 Minute Lessons
- Wanting to dip your toe in the water before you take the plunge? Experience voice technique, reading sheet music, and singing along with a piano before committing to extended study. We’ll start from where you are and build layer by layer as you become a better musician and performer. These lessons are a great place to start for beginners or younger students, if you find that these lessons aren’t long enough, you can always choose a longer lesson next time.
45 Minute Lesson
- Something in the middle if 30 minutes isn’t enough and 60 minutes seems a little too much. Time is split between vocal exercises and songs to balance your voice out and improve your musicality, ability to read music, and overall sound.
60 Minute Lesson
- Let’s get down to business! We’ll have plenty of time for developing technique with vocal exercises as well as songs. We’ll get your voice working in balance and show you how to maintain that balance as you learn new songs and polish up ones you already know. Music Theory and Performance/Audition techniques will be integrated according to your goals.
